The day has finally come. It's time to test for the next rank - 4th kyu. It has been just over a year since my last test and, I must admit, I'm a little bit nervous. I mean, I know the techniques but there's the whole thing about getting up in front of the whole class and having to perform. It's so much easier to blend into a crowd (even when that crowd is just four or five other people). Oh well, ready or not, here I go. I figure, as long as I don't launch the jo into the testing committee, I should be ok.
