I'm trying to get over my fear of falling. Last Thursday, we were practicing the breakfall for kotegaeshi in aikido class. Have a look at the linked video to get an idea of what that means. It's not easy because you have to get over the fear of flipping over and NOT having both hands out to brace against the impact.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath.
Commit to the fall, don't hesistate.
Spread out the impact.
Trust your partner.
Repeat.
This was definitely a class where I just needed to keep breathing. I think I had a couple of decent falls. A few hundred more times and I should be set.

Are you already doing high falls/break falls? I've been working on them. The trick is to do enough of them so that they're not scary anymore!
